EPPride – the LGBTIQ+ network is a pan European Centre-Right political network comprising Christian Democrat, Conservative and Liberal-Conservative groups. EPPride gathers organisations that are part of a political party that belongs to the European Peoples’ Party (EPP) such as CDU, CDA and Moderaterna.
EPPride is an official part of EPP and has status as an Associated Entity. This gives EPPride a platform within the EPP and a seat at important EPP events such as the Congress and the Political Assembly.
EPPride was founded as the European Centre-Right LGBT+ Alliance in Berlin in 2013 by centre-right LGBTIQ+ organisations from Germany and the Nordic countries. The current President is Helge Ytterøy L’orange from Åpne Høyre in Norway.
