EuroPride 2025 was held in Lisbon, Portugal during last week. One of the events held at every EuroPride is a Human Rights Conference and Thursday- Friday EPPride Secretary General Fredrik Saweståhl took part at the conference to promote EPPride and to meet with LGBTIQ+ and Pride activists from across Europe.
At the conference Fredrik Saweståhl was a speaker as a panelist at two of the seminars held. The first was held together with representatives of LGBTI Liberals of Europe and Rainbow Rose to discuss how we as LGBTIQ+ political networks influence policies on the European and national level. The second seminar focused on the situation for rainbow families in Europe.
Apart from good discussions in the panels, and the meetings and discussion throughout the conference there were also a roof-top mingle with European Pride Organisers Association (EPOA) where there was a speech by the mayor of Lisbon from party PSD.
