Today, May 17th, marks the international day against Homophobia, biphobia and transphobia #IDAHOBIT2021
Although LGBT-rights have been strengthened in many countries in Europe there is still a lot of work to do before we can truly say that we live in equality as LGBT citizens.
We therefore ask the EU and all the governments of Europe to work harder for freedom and equality from LGBT-persons across Europe. Fight hate crimes against LGBT persons
Demand a Europe where LGBT-free zones are erased from the map
Secure freedom of movement for rainbow families in Europe
Give mutual recognition to families in Europe – a family in one country should be a family in the other
Fight discrimination in all parts of life – school, health care, the work place and so on.

EPPride - the LGBTIQ+ network of EPP
EPPride was founded in Berlin in 2013 by the centre-right LGBTIQ+ organisations LSU from Germany, Öppna Moderater from Sweden and Kasary from Finland. The inaugural meeting was held at the CDU headquarters, the Konrad Adenauer Haus.
